Section 1: Usage Data
For every user’s access to a site of our offer and for every retrieval of a file deposited on our website, access data on this operation are saved in a log file. Every data record consists of:
- the page from which the file was requested,
- the name of the file,
- the date and time of the request,
- the transferred data amount,
- the access status (file transferred, file not found etc.),
- a description of the type of operating system and web browser used,
- the client IP address.
The client IP address is used for the purpose of transmitting the requested data; it is made anonymous upon elimination of the technical requirement by deleting the last of the fourth numeric block (Ipv4) or the last octet (Ipv6), insofar as the IP address is not provided for the verification of the identity of a purchaser within a purchase of goods or services; Section 2 applies accordingly. At the same time, the client IP address is recorded for the use of the Google Analytics service; this is referred to in Section 3.
The saved data are exclusively analysed for statistical purposes, disclosure to third parties does not take place either for commercial or for non-commercial purposes.
To technically enable the visit of our website and the ordering process, we transmit so-called cookies to your computer. Cookies are small text files by which your computer can be identified. They do not interfere with the operating system of your computer. You can block the use of cookies. However, individual functions of our offer may then not be usable. As you block the use of cookies, please refer to the guide on your browser software.
Furthermore, within the scope of the advertising programme Google AdWords used by us, a cookie with a validity of 30 days is saved on your computer for the purpose of conversion tracking once you click on one of our advertisements with Google. On the basis of this information, we obtain a conversion statistic which informs us of the total data for our advertisements and keyword; however, we cannot identify any users on the basis of this information. You can block the use of cookies.
Section 2: Inventory Data / Contact
Inventory data (name, address(es), bank account, email address, phone and fax number, client IP address at the time of the submission of a customer order) are collected, saved and processed only for the purpose of the initiation or fulfillment of a contract, which in particular includes the billing and settlement of the contract. Your personal data are disclosed to third parties only if this is necessary for the purpose of fulfillment of the contract, as in for the commissioning of a shipping company. A further use only takes place with your previous explicit authorisation, in particular if you register for our newsletter or if you wish to use our contact forms. In these cases, your IP address and the date are saved only for the purpose of verification and the information provided by you is saved only for the processing of the request. The use of data for the newsletter or for contact can be objected at all times with effect for the future, without incurring any other costs for it other than the transmission costs according to the basic rate.
We will use the electronic mail address obtained from you in connection with the sale of a product or service for direct advertising of similar products or services, unless you have objected this usage; you can object this usage at all times, without incurring any other costs for it other than the transmission costs according to the basic rate.
Section 3: Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved on your computer and which enable an analysis of the usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie on your usage of this website is as a rule transmitted to a Google server in the USA and there saved. On the basis of the activation of the IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address is however previously shortened within member states of the European Union and in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the United States and there shortened. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your usage of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services to the website operator connected with website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google.
You can prevent saving cookies with an appropriate setting of your browser software; however, we would like to remind you that in this case you will not be able to use all the functions of the website to the full extent where required. Section 4: Google+, Facebook, Twitter buttons, YouTube (“Plugins”)
We only use deactivated buttons of the social networks of Google+ and Twitter (respective operator: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), Facebook (Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland) and Twitter (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103). This means that initially no data can be transmitted to these networks. You can recognise the providers by the first letters and the symbols within a greyed out circle. By clicking on the button of the corresponding network, you yourself decide to establish a connection with the operator servers of the social media platforms and to thus transmit data in correspondence with the agreement made by you with the social network and the recommendations to the social media servers. For the nature, purpose and extent of the data collection and usage, please refer to the corresponding privacy statements of the social media operators. If you would like to recommend several sites, your authorisation is required on each site.
We also have YouTube videos that are saved on http://youtube.com and that can be retrieved via the plugin on our website. The videos are provided in “enhanced data protection mode”. Data on you as a user are then first transmitted to YouTube if you play a video.
Section 5: Information and Contact Data
Users of a website have the right to obtain information on the saved personal data on them upon request and free of charge. You additionally have a right to amend, block or delete these personal data within the legal requirements.
