You are in the process of activating your Online-TSS on MY orderbird and have entered your company tax number, but the system does not accept your tax number? This is surely due to the format, because every federal state has its own format for tax numbers. However, for the activation of the Online-TSS only the "standard scheme of the federal states" is accepted. You can easily adapt your tax number to the standard scheme yourself! Then you can proceed to activate your Online-TSS in no time.

Adapt the format of your tax number

  1. In the following table, find the line for your federal state, for example "Hessen".
  2. Compare your company tax number with the standard scheme of the federal states. For Hessen, your tax number could look like this: "34/05976349". This example differs from the standard scheme.
  3. Insert the slashes "/" in the appropriate places (and a "0" at the beginning if necessary) in your tax number to adapt it to the standard scheme. For the example of the Hessian tax number it looks like this:
    "34/05976349" changes to “034/059/76349”
  4. Enter your tax number again on MY orderbird in the format of the standard scheme. Done :)
