This step only applies to customers from Germany. If your business is not in Germany, skip directly to this step.

First of all, you activate your Online TSE on MY orderbird. This is a "technical security device" (TSE) required by the legislator as part of the Kassensicherungsverordnung (KassenSichV), which is intended to ensure that all sales are stored in a tamper-proof, uniform national format. Activation takes less than three minutes and after that, you are on the safe side :)

Step by step

1. Have your business tax number ready.
2. Click on "Activate your TSE" on the right.
3. Let the activation assistant guide you through the process and fill in all required fields.
4. Done :)
