Your receipts no longer print a QR code, and instead the message "Signaturerstellungseinheit ausgefallen" appears?

First of all: don't panic on the Titanic! Technology isn’t always perfect, and the legislator understands this. You don’t need to interrupt your work or contact the Finanzamt every time there’s an outage. 

The outage lasted less than 48 hours

Good news! Regardless of your package, you don’t need to take further action except to print out the Nullbeleg at the end of the outage. You can find detailed information here: Der Nullbeleg - Wie drucke ich ihn aus? 

Remember to keep the Nullbeleg safe for your bookkeeping records.

The outage lasted longer than 48 hours

In this case, you'll need to submit a must send an "Ausfallmeldung für die Signaturerstellungseinheit" (in English, a failure report for the signature creation device). Sit back—fiskaltrust takes care of everything for you! Just make sure you are online with your checkout is online within 7 days of the outage, and a QR code could be created to meet all deadlines. Also, print out the Nullbeleg at the end of the outage and keep it safe. 

Remember that the receipt will be printed automatically as soon as possible. In case no printer is available, the app will prompt you to print it later.

1. Report failure 
   Log in to FinanzOnline.at and submit the Ausfallmeldung für die Signaturerstellungseinheit within 7 days after the 48-hour grace period expires. Confirm the outage on portal.fiskaltrust.at. 
2. Report recommissioning 
   Follow these instructions: Basis-Paket | Recommissioning the signature creation device #LINK and report it on FinanzOnline.at as soon as your receipts are signed with a QR code again, and confirm the recommissioning on portal.fiskaltrust.at.
3. Print Nullbeleg 
   After recommissioning, the Nullbeleg will be printed out automatically. If it isn’t printed automatically, the orderbird app will remind you to print it manually via the yellow flashing bar at the top of the screen. All the details can be found here: Der Nullbeleg - Wie drucke ich ihn aus?.
