To let your guests order directly from their smartphones, simply put a QR code on each table as a sticker or display. Each table has to have it its own unique QR code, which you can find in the Bestellmanagement Portal and insert into a design that matches your branding.
You have two options for getting your QR codes printed:

To ensure the QR code stickers stick properly to your tables, please follow these tips:
- Clean the table surface thoroughly, ideally with alcohol.
- A smooth surface without holes or irregularities works best.
- Natural wood is less suitable; smooth, lacquered surfaces are preferable.

Customize your QR Codes with a logo
- Click on “Logo verändern”.
- You now have three options: a) Use your existing logo uploaded in step 3 (3. Upload a background image and logo for your digital menu), b) upload a different logo, or c) use the orderbird logo.

Make sure your logo has neither a transparent nor a black background, as it can interfere with the QR code being scanned properly.
- Click “Speichern” to finish.
Add QR Codes to your own design
To prepare the QR codes for printing, we recommend placing each one into a design that includes a clear title (such as “Scan and Order”) along with the table number. This helps your guests understand how to use them and ensures that each code is clearly assigned to the correct table.
There are two ways to add the QR codes into a design.
Option 1: Manual setup with maximum flexibility
The first option is manual: under “Aktive Tische”, simply click on “Alle herunterladen” to download all your QR codes. You can then place them manually into your own design using the software of your choice. This gives you full creative control but takes a bit more time.
Option 2: Fast setup using a design template
The second option is much faster. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Here, you can upload your own design and with one click, the system will automatically insert all QR codes and table numbers into your graphic!
If you want to use this option, you must follow the exact measurements and positions for your graphic elements.

- To download personalized DIN A6 QR codes, first create a design template with the correct dimensions, leaving space for the QR code and table number.
Display Design Template Dimensions
Your design template for the display should meet the following dimensions:
Total size: 397px (width) x 559px (height)
QR code area: Size: 126.6px x 126.6px; Position: X = 136.8px, Y = 310.5px
Table number position: X = 191.3px, Y = 467.4px
- After uploading the image in the left field, you can select your preferred table number color and click “Aufsteller downloaden”.
If you want your template with the QR code to appear on both sides of your display, enable “Vorderseite auf beiden Seiten nutzen” and the file will be optimized for double-sided printing.

Your sticker design template should meet the following dimensions:
Total size: 340px (width) x 227px (height)
QR code area: Size: 120px x 120px; Position: X = 189.3px, Y = 53.5px
Table number position: X = 315.1px, Y = 201.3px
- Once your design is ready, you can upload it in the right field.
Before clicking “Sticker downloaden”, you can select your preferred color for the table numbers.
- To download personalized QR codes as stickers, first create a design with the correct dimensions, leaving space for the QR code and table number.
- Now you can print the QR codes with the printer of your choice!
