Do you still have the fiskaltrust portal open in your browser? Great, because you’ll need it for this step as well.

It’s best to open a new browser window and go to finanzonline.bmf.gv.at. This way, you can easily switch between fiskaltrust and FinanzOnline.at.

Starting on FinanzOnline.at

1. Log in to finanzonline.bmf.gv.at using your FinanzOnline credentials.
2. Click on “Eingaben” (Entries) in the gray navigation bar at the top of the main page.
3. Select “Registrierkassen” (Cash Registers).
4. On the new “Registrierkassen” page, find the section titled “Signatur- bzw. Siegelerstellungseinheit” (Signature or Seal Creation Unit). Click on “Registrierung einer Signatur- bzw. Siegelerstellungseinheit” (Register a Signature or Seal Creation Unit).
   
5. On the next page, select “Hardware-Sicherheitsmodul (HSM) eines Dienstleisters” (Hardware Security Module of a Service Provider) from the list under “Art der Sicherheitseinrichtung” (Type of Security Device).
   
6. For “Vertrauensdienstanbieter” (Trusted Service Provider), choose “AT3 PrimeSign” from the list.
   

Back to the fiskaltrust Portal

Now go back to the fiskaltrust portal ...

1. In the main menu on the left side, click on “Werkzeuge” (Tools) and then on “AT FinanzOnline Meldungen” (AT FinanzOnline Reports).
2. In the “Meldungen” (Reports) table, look for “Inbetriebnahmebescheinigung: XXXXXXXXXX (AT3)” (Commissioning Certificate: XXXXXXXXXX (AT3)).
3. Click on the small blue-bordered checkmark at the end of the row.
4. Copy or note down the “Seriennummer des Signatur-Zertifikats (AT3)” (Serial Number of the Signature Certificate (AT3)).

And Back to FinanzOnline Again

Now go back to the FinanzOnline.at window …

1. Paste the serial number you just copied from fiskaltrust into the field labeled “Seriennummer des Signatur- bzw. Siegelerstellungseinheit” (Serial Number of the Signature or Seal Creation Unit).
   
2. Click “Registrieren” (Register).

FinanzOnline.at will now check whether the data is correct. If everything has been entered correctly, a green bar at the top will show the message “Die Verarbeitung wurde durchgeführt” (The processing has been completed).
