In a nutshell

  • Make sure your Apple device is running a version newer than iOS 15. Even better is the most recent iOS. Apple explains how to check your current iOS version: Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201685)
  • Switch on the card reader. Wait until the blue light in the upper right corner blinks.
  • Pair your iPad via Bluetooth with the card reader
  • Now open the orderbird app. You can charge a table using the payment option “card payment,” which will be automatically generated by the system
