Before you and your cash register head off for a well-deserved break, ensure everything is in order. What you need to check depends on whether your last receipt included a QR code or displayed an error message.
Good to know
If your last invoice was a SEPA direct debit or an expense-only invoice, no QR code will be printed, as it is not legally required for the payment types.
My last receipt had a QR code
Great news! The last printed receipt is signed, meaning your cash register is functioning properly.
Have a great trip and enjoy your vacation!
I can’t remember if my last receipt had a QR code
No problem! You can verify this by checking the journal of the last signed receipts in the fiskaltrust portal, where you can see if a receipt has been signed correctly. Here’s how it works:
- Log in at https://portal.fiskaltrust.at.
- Click on Configuration > Queue.
- In the "List of Queues" table, click the “Belegjournal" (Receipt Journal) icon in the “Journal” column.
- To check whether your receipt has been signed, click the eye icon (Belege anzeigen).
- You will now see whether your receipt has been signed:
Signed | Unsigned, indicated by the message “Sicherheitseinrichtung ausgefallen” (Security mechanism failed). |
