Your Pay Terminal Plus is no longer processing transactions? Even tapping or inserting a card won't help?
Your terminal has most probably stopped working. But do not worry, with these instructions you have a quick aid to bring your Pay Terminal Plus back to life.
In a nutshell
- Delete your Pay Terminal Plus in the orderbird PRO App: Go to "Settings" > "Payment" > "Payment Terminal" > "Manage Terminals"
- Remove the existing pairing on the Pay Terminal Plus > Paired devices > Remove paired devices
- Reset the Pay Terminal Plus as follows:
- Settings > Information > Reset app data and confirm by tipping on OK.
- Storage > Clear data
- Leave the menu
- Follow the instructions and set up your Pay Terminal Plus.
- Pair the Pay Terminal Plus with orderbird PRO again
Let's go
Follow these seven steps in order to be up and running again with your Pay Terminal Plus:

First, remove the existing pairing of the card reader.
- In orderbird PRO, go to "Settings" > "Payment" > "Payment Terminal" > "Manage Terminals".
- Under "Paired Wi-Fi Terminals" you see the connected Pay Terminal Plus. Swipe left over the name of the card reader until you see "Delete".
- Tap on "Delete".
- On the Pay Terminal Plus, enter the menu via tapping in the upper left corner. Then, tap on "Paired devices".
- Tap the trash can symbol on the paired Apple device.
- Confirm by tapping on "Remove" and tap on the arrow.
- In orderbird PRO, go to "Settings" > "Payment" > "Payment Terminal" > "Manage Terminals".
- Re-enter the menu in the top left corner of your terminal, then go to Settings > Information
- Select the option “Reset app data”. Read the instructions and confirm with “OK”.
- Tap on “Storage”, “Clear data” and confirm.
- Finally, tap on the circle at the bottom of the screen. Your home screen will appear again after the procedure has ended.
- Follow the instructions and set up the Pay Terminal Plus again.
