Let's go Any questions? Can I use my Pay Terminal One with multiple Apple devices simultaneously?

Do you want to pair your Pay Terminal One with a different Apple device because the patio season is about to start, and you want to be more mobile? Or has your Apple device, which is usually connected to your Pay Terminal One, given up the ghost? No problem!


Let's go

Follow these steps, and your Pay Terminal One will be connected to a new Apple device in no time.

  1. Make sure to close the shift in the orderbird app.
  2. Close the orderbird app.
  3. Switch on your Pay Terminal One by pressing and holding the blue button in the top right corner of the terminal for 2 seconds. The display will turn on, and your Pay Terminal One will reboot.
  4. Activate the pairing mode on your Pay Terminal One.
    Press the green check mark button until the blue LED blinks quickly.
  5. Go to the settings of your Apple device, select the option “Bluetooth,” and activate the Bluetooth function.
  6. A new entry will appear in the list. This will consist of the word “orderbird” and the last six digits of your Pay Terminal One's serial number.
  7. Select this entry and confirm the pairing request on the Apple device and the Pay Terminal One. On the card reader, press once on the button with the green tick mark.
  8. That's it! Your Apple device is now paired with your Pay Terminal One.

Can I use my Pay Terminal One with multiple Apple devices simultaneously?

No! For security reasons, the Pay Terminal One can only be used with one Apple device at a time. To use it with another device, you must first reset your Pay Terminal One. Learn how to do this here: How can I reset my Pay Terminal One to factory settings?
