Since April 1, 2017, all businesses in Austria subject to the cash register obligation have been required to implement a legally defined tamper protection system for their cash registers. To provide you with a secure and flexible solution for a tamper-proof cash register, in accordance with the Cash Register Security Ordinance ("Registrierkassensicherheitsverordnung" or RKSV), we have partnered with fiskaltrust.
As a service provider, fiskaltrust offers a web-based solution to make your cash register tamper-proof. You can choose from a variety of solution options (packages) provided by fiskaltrust. We will guide you through the entire process, from start to finish, and help you make the best decision for your needs.
This guide will walk you through the RKSV requirements and serve as your first point of reference for any questions about upgrading your orderbird cash register to comply with the RKSV. Many terms are explained in our Glossary on Fiscalization in Austria.

Easily Keep Track
Since you will be logging into various online portals to upgrade your cash register to be tamper-proof, we recommend that you complete all steps on your computer or laptop rather than on an iPad or other tablet devices.
During this process, you will also be dealing with many usernames, passwords, and other login details. Use this : Download and print this overview of your RKSV login data, codes and IDs and have it ready for all subsequent steps, recording all new access information in it.

- Sign up for fiskaltrust - you are invited
- Obtain all access credentials for FinanzOnline.at
- Creating a Registrierkassen-WebService on FinanzOnline.at
- Introduce yourself to fiskaltrust - Provide your personal data
- Connect fiskaltrust with FinanzOnline.at
Email us at help@orderbird.com, and we will add the Sorglos-Paket to your fiskaltrust account. As soon as you receive confirmation, you can proceed with the following steps:
- Check the Status of Automatic Data Transmission to FinanzOnline.at.
- Save Your Login Credentials in orderbird PRO and Print the Startbeleg | Sorglos-Paket.
- Link the Payment Types in orderbird PRO with fiskaltrust in the RKSV Sorglos-Paket.
